Product information "Body tin solder S-Sn90Zn7Cu3 Lead free"

Body tin for tinning weld seams, for leveling out dents, dents, unevenness, for adjusting gap dimensions on hood/door edges, body tin has a very large melting range and optimal gap filling. Body tin is often used, especially when restoring vintage cars. Body tin can also be used in model making. If you heat the solder to the working temperature, it has a cake batter-like consistency and can be spread with an oiled wooden spatula. In car body construction, this property is used to compensate for dents or dents. In technical model making, this can be helpful when creating molds or with a special shape (inner radius) for model components. If you use lead-free body tin we recommend this alloy. Sn90Zn7Cu3 is always our first choice.

Application body tin

First, the component on which the body tin is to be applied must be treated with tinning paste nt become. While the soldering point is still warm, wipe it off with a wet cloth so that the tinning paste has a silvery shine. Now both the component and the body tin are brought evenly to working temperature. As soon as the solder begins to become soft, it is pressed onto the component with light pressure so that small piles form. As soon as enough tin has been applied to the area, the entire material is heated gently until it has reached a cake batter-like consistency. Now it can be spread with a wooden spatula soaked in linseed oil, for example. Finally, the excess material is removed with a coarse file until the desired shape is achieved.

If you use lead-free body tin we recommend this alloy. Sn90Zn7Cu3 is always our first choice.

Soft soldering paste
Soft soldering paste for brass, copper, steel and silver steel. The paste is applied thinly to the parts to be tinned and heated with a brazing lamp. For large-area soft soldering, it is optimal to tin- the parts beforehand. For example, we use the paste to pre-tine the cylinder and the mirror when constructing a model steam engine. The tinning paste can also be used optimally as a flux substitute. The soft soldering paste is excellently suitable as corrosion protection for steel parts. Bengs Modellbau uses the zinc paste for steel cylinders with a cooling water jacket. For example in the Flammenfresser Kurfürst. Stirring the paste before use is not necessary! The soft soldering paste may be diluted with water. Soldering paste
Ready-to-use and dosing silver solder paste, 56% silver content (L-Ag55) with the working temperature 650 ° C. The silver solder paste is suitable for fine brazing. The hard solder paste is suitable for creating almost invisible soldering seams, even in inaccessible places. With our silver soldering paste, there are virtually no solder residues at the soldering point, which must be labored. No flux required. Dried silver soldering paste is made ready for use again with a few drops of water. Mix thoroughly before removing. Typical application examples for the silver soldering paste are: Apparatus and equipment for the food industry silver contacts Bronze and brass fittings Modelling piping Heat and cooling technology Fashion Jewelry glasses manufacturing Precision Engineering !!! The silver soldering paste is also suitable for kiln soldering (furnace should have a working temperature of at least 680 ° C) !!! Contents 10 g Here you will find a tutorial on how to braze with silver solder paste.

Gas solder CFH Diamond M50
The CFH Gas Solderer Diamant M50 is a small soldering torch with a very fine and pointed flame. The torch is suitable for soft soldering directly with the flame, as well as for brazing smaller components with oursilver brazing. You can adjust the size of the flame using the gas valve. You can use another adjustment wheel to set a sharp flame for high temperatures and a soft flame for lower temperatures. The gas soldering iron is ignited via a piezo ignition. Even larger components can be easily soft-soldered with this gas soldering tool. The integrated piezo ignition and the stable base are particularly pleasant. This small burner is therefore ideal for the workbench in technical model making. Whether for soft soldering parts, showing off or removing screw glue. The burner can be held or placed both horizontally and vertically, the flame always remains clean. With the CFH Gas Solderer Diamond M50 you can also braze components. We also use the gas soldering gun in our workshop to braze small, delicate parts. However, once the components reach a certain size, the heat of the flame is no longer sufficient. So if you plan to solder larger components, use theSoldering Master PZ5000. Technical data CFH gas soldering diamond M50 Dimensions: approx. W 100 x H 140 x D 70 mm Flame temperature: 1300 °C Working temperature: 650 °C Working time with one filling: approx. 90 minutes Clean flame when used horizontally and vertically The CFH Gas Solderer Diamant M50 has a sturdy aluminum tank. The valve for adjusting the flame size can be easily operated with one hand. To operate the piezo, press the button to adjust the flame size. In addition, with this soldering torch, the air supply to the flame and thus the sharpness of the flame can be adjusted.
