To crimp a pipe, the union nut is first pushed over the pipe. The cutting ring is then also pushed onto the pipe. Now the pipe can be inserted into the base body and the union nut is tightened using a wrench. When the union nut is tightened, the clamping ring is compressed so tightly that it can no longer be removed from the pipe without being destroyed.

Compression fittings

With these compression fittings you can connect two copper pipes or brass pipes together without soldering. A compression fitting consists of a base body, two cutting rings and two union nuts. All parts of the compression fitting are made of brass. The compression fittings can be used in both pneumatics and hydraulics. These screw connections are also used to connect lubrication lines, gasoline lines, gas lines, supply steam lines or exhaust steam lines. The compression fittings are also used in trade and industry. Copper braze fittings

These Cu braze fittings are suitable for connecting two pipes. The copper tube is inserted into the socket. Subsequently, the copper sleeves can be brazed or soft soldered. As in sanitary engineering, the sleeves are made of copper tubing. The small sleeves are ideal for model building, for example to extend steam lines or fuel lines. The sleeves for 4 mm and 5 mm pipes have a wall thickness of 0.5 mm. All sleeves from a size of 6 mm have a wall thickness of 1 mm.
